GIoCT is set up as a not-for-profit, charitable organisation and it is governed by its constitution, which determines our structure and how we carry out our work.

Our Trustees have the ultimate responsibility for directing the affairs of GIoCT, ensuring that we are solvent, well-run, and delivering the charitable outcomes for which we were set up. Trustees give their time voluntarily and are not remunerated for their work on behalf of GIoCT.

Frankie Lowe

Co-Founder of GIoCT

Frankie Lowe is an educator, entrepreneur, philanthropist and vegetarian guru. In 2003, she established the first cultural centre in Shanghai.

Dr. Edrys Barkham

Director of Admission,
Bryanston School

Edrys Barkham is an educator and leader with diverse talents who has devoted her life to education while maintaining a keen interest in biology and archaeology.

Prof Antonios Tsourdos

Professor of Autonomous Systems and Control, Cranfield University

Antonios Tsourdos is Director of Research, School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing and member of the University Executive at Cranfield University.

Bill Lucas is Chair of the Advisory Committee at the Global Institute of Creative Thinking and Professor of Learning and Director of the Centre .

Michael Anderson

Vice Chair of Advisory Committee

Dr Michael Anderson is the Professor of Creativity and Arts Education in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at The University of Sydney and Co-Director of the CREATE Centre.

Pamela Burnard

Member of Advisory Committee

Pamela Burnard is Professor of Arts, Creativities and Educations at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge.

Laura McBain

Member of Advisory Committee

Co-Interim Managing Director at Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford and Co-Director of K12 Lab. Laura is the K12 Director of Community and Implementation at the Stanford.

Marc Chun

Member of Advisory Committee & Summit Lead

Marc Chun completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Organisational Studies.

Ronald Beghetto

Member of Advisory Committee

Dr. Beghetto is an internationally recognized expert on creative thought and action in educational settings. He holds the Pinnacle West Presidential Chair and serves as a Professor in the Mary Lou.

Vlad Glaveanu

Member of Advisory Committee

Vlad Glăveanu, PhD, is Full Professor of psychology in the School of Psychology, Dublin City University, and Professor II at the Centre for the Science of Learning and Technology, University of Bergen.

Edward Derbyshire

Head of Drama, Pate’s Grammar

Edward is Head of Drama at Pate’s Grammar School. He loves the theatre in all manifestations as he loves life, and the people who inhabit it.

David Parrish

Author and Creativity Consultant

David is a creativity consultant and an expert in creative entrepreneurship. David is the author of the book “T-Shirts and Suits: A Guide to the Business of Creativity” which has been published in translations in 14 countries worldwide.

Lubna Khan

Trustee-Harmony Project (The Prince’s Foundation)

Lubna is the headteacher of Berrymede Junior School and has a proven record in educational leadership. Lubna has extensive experience in curriculum design.

Amanda Lando

Former Head of IJDS

Amanda is a former headteacher who obtained her B.Ed (1st Class Honours) NPQH from the Institute of Education (London).

Tracy Liu

Project Coordinator

Tracy is currently our Project Coordinator, at the same time, she is a Phd Candidate in Social Anthropology, from King’s College, University of Cambridge, expected to finish her thesis at the end of this year.

Dan Corry

Project Manager

Dan has a background in scientific thinking, obtaining a Masters Degree in Astrophysics from Durham University.

Kiliana Liu

Programme Manager

Kiliana is a qualified interpreter and is our program manager. She attends our events, provides excellent live translation, and also works on a number of our programs.

Mark Parkins

Digital Manager

With a rich history of creating high-quality, entertaining, and compelling digital content across multiple platforms, Mark possesses an extensive skillset and a deep understanding of various software packages and analytical tools.
