Dan has a background in scientific thinking, obtaining a Masters Degree in Astrophysics from Durham University. Since then, Dan has been working in education and, in particular, he has been consulting on how we may bring novel and creative teaching practices into classrooms across the world.

Dan has worked in both the UK and Shanghai, occupying positions of leadership in different educational institutions before opening his own educational consultancy in 2018. Dan is now responsible for some of the global projects that GIoCT is working on and works closely with our Chinese partners, as he works in both Shanghai and Lonson.
