The C Change Conference provides the opportunity to share and contribute your ideas, insights, perceptions and experiences and to connect with others to bring about creative change.

You will have opportunities to step outside of your comfort zone and develop your own creativity.

Dr Debra Kidd – Associate Lecturer in the PGCE programme at Leeds Beckett University and author of ‘A Curriculum of Hope’. Debra has vast experience, especially looking at literacy, oracy and the power of the Arts, with a clear view on what education is all about and the willingness to speak truth to power. Working across far-flung places including Hong Kong, China, Siberia and Poland, she uses her teaching skills and experience to tap into the power of the Arts to bring untapped creative talents to the fore.

Hywel Roberts – Originally a drama teacher in some of the North of England’s most demanding school environments – including special schools and PRUs – Hywel shows how to bring the learning to life for even the most disaffected children and young people. He draws on and has adapted the work of Dorothy Heathcote- ‘Mantle of the Expert’ approach to learner engagement. Hywel shows teachers how to breathe life into the curriculum in a way that has children learning and eager for more.

More exciting speakers to be added soon.
